Before we even arrived in Rome, Jacqui helped us rent a van and secured a beautiful hilltop villa. Her services are top notch! Her catered regional dinner and breakfast tasted fabulous with an abundance of local fare. She even provided delicious gluten free items, which a couple of us requested. The cooking class that Jacqui led was filled with laughter, her patience, and a scrumptious meal. Of course, she went the extra mile and included an antipasto and her fun-to-eat deconstructed tiramisu! Jacqui is also knowledgeable about the local wines, and the wine tasting evening outdoors was informative, fun, and again, delicious. Her suggestions for restaurants and for visiting nearby towns satisfied all eight of us. She also helped us with organizing tours, making a reservation to celebrate a birthday, securing a driver, and schedules for trains and buses. “Although we’ve visited Italy many times, we had never been to Umbria until this past Fall. We stayed in a lovely farmhouse and were lucky enough to have Jacqui to look after us while we were there. The breakfasts and dinners she prepared for us were phenomenal! We’ve stayed in more than a dozen villas throughout Europe and of all the chefs we’ve worked with, Jacqui was our favorite. Not only did she prepare a delicious variety of Umbrian specialties, she was flexible and accommodating in fulfilling a few special requests we had. Her husband Dave pitched in a couple of nights and grilled a fantastic Bistecca alla Fiorentina. They are both delightful and made us feel at home. We had so much fun during our stay, and they really enhanced our experience by sharing suggestions for local wineries and other experiences in the area. We also shared lots of laughs while Jacqui prepared dinner. I strongly recommend working with Jacqui if you plan to visit Umbria!”

“Now that I am home from a great 3 weeks in Italy, when I look back on it, my favorite week was at La Segreta, the farmhouse we stayed in the Umbrian Region of Italy. Everyday we traveled to a different quaint Italian town with beautiful sights and wonderful food.
